Mason and Inova Health System Forge New Research Collaboration After more than nine years of partnership on groundbreaking research on obesity, liver disease and cancer, Inova Health System has provided Mason $1 million to create the Inova Life Sciences Research Collaboration fund – GMU to stimulate and enhance collaborative research in the life sciences. Mason Launches Master of Public Health Degree The new Master of Public Health, launching in the fall of 2009, will address shortages within the Commonwealth by preparing an estimated 100 graduates per year to respond to disasters and improve the health of vulnerable populations. Arts Academy offers classes in the arts to community members of all
ages, from
toddlers to senior citizens. The classes are taught by faculty members
and graduate students in the College of Visual and Performing Arts, as
