Mission Statement of the George Mason University Alumni Association

The mission of the George Mason University Alumni Association is to strengthen George Mason University by engaging alumni through fellowship, programs, and services that encourage active participation in the university community.

Core Values

Board of Directors

The George Mason University Alumni Association represents all of the university's more than 148,033 alumni worldwide. The Association is governed by the Board of Directors, which consists of 12 alumni executive and at-large directors and chapter presidents. The Board of Directors is elected by fellow alumni each June following a nomination process. More information about the current Board of Directors is available online.

The mission of the George Mason University Alumni Association is to strengthen George Mason University by engaging alumni through fellowship, programs and services that encourage active participation in the university community. The Alumni Association is currently following the 2008-2012 Strategic Plan in pursuing their mission and has convened a committee to upate the plan for into the future from 2012.
