Alumni Weekend

Alumni Weekend is a great opportunity to return to Mason in the fall and reconnect with friends and faculty, get reacquainted with campus, and hear from university leaders about Mason today. Alumni Weekend is always the first full weekend in October. Mark your calendar now! For 2012, Alumni Weekend is October 5th - 7th.

Homecoming

During Homecoming, alumni, family, and friends return to Mason to cheer on the Patriots during basketball season and renew ties to their alma mater. The Alumni Hospitality Tent provides a common meeting place at the Homecoming Block Party before the big game and includes entertainment, giveaways, refreshments, and all around fun for the whole family. Additional activities include the annual beer-tasting event and Homecoming Parade.

Celebration of Distinction

The Alumni Association hosts an annual awards ceremony, the Celebration of Distinction, to recognize distinguished alumni, faculty, and students. The Spirit Magazine covered both the 2011 recipients and the 2012 recipients.
