Would you like to know the ins and outs of the home buying or selling process?
Need advice about a particular issue related to real estate?
Alumni are invited to get answers and learn tips at this workshop held in the the Johnson Center, 3rd Floor, Meeting Room C. Participants will take part in a workshop that will provide valuable information to help with the process of purchasing a new home.

The Experts:
John E. Ross currently works for the U.S. House of Representatives and teaches Finance at Mason as a part time adjunct professor. He previously spent three years as a licensed real estate professional in Virginia and DC. Mr. Ross was also spent twelve years an entrepreneur and restaurateur as the Vice President and minority owner of Capitol City Brewing Company. He graduated from George Mason with a degree in Finance in 2005 and recently completed a two year term as a Director at Large on the Alumni Association Board of Directors.
Rosemary Hill is the Director of Education and Community Relations with Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Greater Washington, a division of Money Management International. In her role in education, Ms. Hill is responsible for providing financial literacy and community education programs in the Greater Washington area. She has been a certified credit counselor for over a decade and during that time has assisted hundreds of individuals improve their financial outlook. She is FCRA certified and has had extensive experience in housing counseling.
Nicky Safdar graduated from George Mason with a degree in Economics in 2002. She has been in banking for nine years and with Chevy Chase Bank throughout that time.
Nicky is currently the Branch Manager/Assistant Vice President for Chevy Chase Bank at George Mason University. She has been a mortgage advisor for the past three years.
Annemarie Dalba is a Liberty Mutual insurance agent licensed in Virginia, DC and Maryland.
She specializes in auto, home and life insurance, as well as voluntary benefits.
