What is it?

The MASONline Alumni Directory is your online source for up-to-date information on the whereabouts of other Mason alumni. The online directory is a convenient resource to update both your personal and professional contact information. By keeping your information up-to-date in the directory, you will receive all of the latest news, events, and happenings at your alma mater, including the Mason Spirit alumni magazine and the monthly e-newsletter, MasonWire.

Lifetime E-mail

Alumni who graduated Fall 2010 or later will continue to have access to their lifetime MASONLIVE email account (netid@masonlive.gmu.edu). MASONLIVE account holders must access their email, and other LIVE@edu features, directly from the Window's Live website, http://login.live.com.

For alumni who graduated prior to Fall 2010, the Alumni Association continues to provide a lifetime e-mail forwarding service*.  Visit the MASONline Alumni Directory, and click on “E-mail Forwarding” to create your free e-mail alias (yourname@gmualumni.org) and specify your forwarding address.  Share your gmualumni.org address with your family and friends.  Any e-mail messages sent to your alias will be forwarded to the inbox of an account you already own! If your email changes, simply log-in to MASONline Directory and update your forwarding address.
*This alias will become a full email account via Windows Live in the near future.

Your alumni email address will also grant you access to the George Mason University Network on Facebook. Visit the Networks Tab in Facebook to join the George Mason network using your masonlive.gmu.edu or gmualumni.org email address. A newly established gmualumni.org address requires a 24-hour set up period before it will be accepted by the George Mason network.

Privacy

We recognize that some alumni may want to keep their information updated but may not want to be listed publicly in the directory. With one click of the mouse, you can exclude your information from being searched by other alumni. The directory also permits you to personalize what information you want others to view.

Security

The MASONline Alumni Directory is housed on a secure server at George Mason University. You can rest assured that your personal information is safe and secure and only other registered users of the online directory can view your information.
