Alumni Travel Program
The Alumni Association has partnered with Mason's Center for Global Education to provide alumni with an official travel program. Alumni are invited to take advantage of a wide variety of travel opportunities, which are also offered to Mason students, faculty, staff, and the local community. Springbreak in Memphis, TN: March 10-17
CHSS Dean Jack Censer and Southern Historian Dr. Jane Censer invite you to join them this spring break in Memphis, where Rock 'n Roll was born and the Civil Rights Movement took its most tragic turn. Visit Graceland, Elvis’s grand estate; tour the National Civil Rights Museum, where Dr. Martin Luther King was assassinated; ride down the Mississippi on the Delta Queen Riverboat; travel to Oxford, where William Faulkner lived; and take a stroll on historic Beale Street, home of the blues with more than 25 live music venues and shops. Of course, no trip is complete without feasting on Memphis BBQ!
