Congratulations, Graduates! You did it. Graduation is just around the corner and we invite you to come out and celebrate your accomplishments. Activities are planned for the Class of 2009 and are open to both seniors and graduate students.

Mason has an exclusive use of Six Flags, America in Maryland on Saturday, April 25, 2009. The exclusive night begins at 5 p.m. You must be a Mason student, staff, faculty, alumnus, family or friend to attend and to get the special pricing. Tickets are valid for admittance all day.

Baseball Game of the Week: Mason vs. Northeastern Time: 3 p.m. Location: Spuhler Field, Mason's Fairfax Campus Graduating students are invited to stop by the Mason Athletics tent at the baseball game to enjoy FREE hot dogs and hamburgers and learn about special athletics discounts and programs for young alumni. All fans will receive a free stadium cup.
Stop by and you could take home one of our Mason gifts (blankets, shirts, Coach L Basketballs) or prizes (Nationals tickets, iPod and more).

Grad Week: May 8 – 16
Friday, May 8
The Annual Alumni Association Grad Brunch and Movin' On Fair Time: 10 a.m. – noon Location: Dewberry Hall RSVP required
Enjoy breakfast foods, meet members of the Alumni Association and don’t forget to bring your Graduation cap for some decorating! At the Movin’ On Fair, Mason representatives from various offices will be available to let you know about existing opportunities for Mason Grads.
Grub Crawl Time: 7 p.m. – 2 a.m. Start Location: Damon's Restaurant in SUB I
The first bus will depart at 8 p.m. and will go to Brion's Grill, PJ Skidoos and Firehouse Grill. The second bus will depart at 8:30 p.m. and will go to Hooters, Buffalo Wing University and Carlos O'Kelly's. Buses will return to the JC Bistro for free coffee and munchies, available from 12:30 - 2 a.m.

Hard Times Cafe Pool Party Time: 7 – 11 p.m. Location: Hard Times Cafe
Graduating students can enjoy free food and billiards in the back room at Hard Times Cafe.
Tuesday, May 12
Cruise on the Potomac Time: 8 – 11 p.m. Location: Potomac Riverboat Company Alexandria Dock (Directions) Tickets: $10 Mason grads; $20 non-Mason guests Boat boards at 7:45 p.m.
Ride the Cherry Blossom, a re-creation of a 19th century Victorian riverboat, with fellow grads and enjoy DJ Rush Hour and BBQ. Cash bar available.
Wednesday, May 13
Honors Recognition Reception at Mathy House Time: 5:30 p.m. Location: Mathy House Shuttle departs from Patriot Center at 5:15 p.m.
Commencement Rehearsal Time: 7:30 p.m. Location: Patriot Center
Senior Class Giving Party Time: 8:30 p.m. Location: Patriot Center concourse
Free happy hour with food, drinks and music! All seniors who make a gift of any amount will be invited to the Senior Class Giving Party. Seniors who make a donation of $20.09 will be invited to the party, have their name displayed on a Senior Giving plaque in the Johnson Center and receive a free Mason t-shirt.

Graduating students are invited to enjoy a light breakfast and mimosas at Damon's before the commencement ceremony.

Washington Nationals vs. Philadelphia Phillies (Sold Out) Time: 1:35 p.m. Location: Nationals Park, Washington, D.C. Tickets: $27 per ticket Payment is required by May 8 to guarantee receipt of tickets. No refunds.
Mason's Alumni Association has reserved a limited number of tickets in the left field box as the Washington Nationals battle the 2008 World Series Champions, the Philadelphia Phillies. Gather with friends, family and Mason alumni at Nationals Park. This event is currently sold out. However, Patriot Club will host a young alumni night on July 17.
