The Alumni Association represents the university's more than 150,000 alumni worldwide. The Board of Directors consists of seven executive committee members, six at-large directors, and the presidents of recognized alumni chapters. Elections are held annually in June. Recognized chapters include three cultural chapters and academic chapters which mirror the broad academic structure of the university. Regional clubs connect with alumni in their own metropolitan area regardless of academic discipline.

Advocacy Committee

The advocacy committee works with the university to engage alumni in efforts that enhance university priorities and visibility. Mason Lobbies Day is the committee's hallmark event.

Member Involvement Committee

The involvement committee seeks to engage alumni in the life of the university by promoting and facilitating meaningful opportunities for volunteering and lifelong learning, activities that bring alumni together and back to the university, and increased levels of engagement and support.

Leadership Committee

The leadership committee facilitates the development of a strong corps of alumni leaders through recruitment, training, and recognition. Fill out an application form to be considered for a position on the Board of Directors.

Scholarship Committee

Each year a committee of alumni volunteers convenes to review applications, interview and select the recipients for five Alumni Association scholarships. Recipients are recognized at the annual Scholarship dinner.

Where's your Mason?

Everyone's Mason experience is different, so our alumni programs reflect that diversity. You can connect with people in your major, keep in touch with alumni who share your interests and meet people in your area who share the Mason connection.
