Golden Quill Society
The Golden Quill Society is an enhanced first-year alumni leadership experience created by the George Mason University Alumni Association to recognize outstanding graduates prior to commencement and cultivate their leadership within the alumni community. We inducted the first class into the Golden Quill Society on May 18th, 2011 with remarks from President Alan Merten, Alumni Association President Tennille Parker '97, and Jeff Fissel '06.
Members inducted into the Golden Quill Society will be afforded opportunities to network and build leadership skills with free invitations to the Association's annual Celebration of Distinction, the Student-Leader Alumni Brunch, and the Leadership Summit during Alumni Weekend.
In being identified as a first-year alumni leader, members of the Golden Quill Society can expect to be listed as a resource for schools, colleges, and alumni chapters seeking leadership.
