19th Annual Homecoming Pregame Block Party

Selecting 1 ticket will reserve 2 parking spaces in Lot K. All tailgating reservations must be checked in by 4 p.m. on the day of the event. Only ONE TICKET per person.

Event Information:

Wander through heated tents and hang out with friends, and meet alumni. You just never know who you'll find. A great event for any Patriot fan complete with interactive games, crafts, and face painting.

Tailgating during the Homecoming Block Party is a tradition at Mason and one we would like to continue in the future. Please help us keep your campus clean by bagging your trash and using recycling containers.

For the safety and enjoyment of all fans, please keep the guidelines below in mind when tailgating and attending the Block Party.

The Homecoming Block Party pre-game celebration, including tailgating, will take place in a designated area of Parking Lot K, on the west side of the EagleBank Arena. For the safety of all who attend the Block Party, cars will only be permitted into the tailgating area for 30 MINUTES prior to the event and vehicles must remain parked until the event is over. The Block Party Lot will open for setup at 2:30 p.m. All cars must be in the lot by 4 p.m. The Block Party will close 30 minutes prior to the start of the game. Fans are responsible for cleaning all trash and food items before leaving for the game.

Spaces are not assigned and are on a first-come, first-served basis.
Rental trucks, trailers, party buses, and motor homes will not be permitted into the lot.

Individuals who are 21 and older will be permitted to bring their own beer and/or wine into the tailgating area. Only single serving containers in cans or plastic are permitted for personal consumption.

The following is not allowed:

  • Glass bottles or containers
  • Cases, kegs, and other large quantity containers
  • Liquor, mixed drinks, etc.
  • Drinking games and rapid consumption devices

All glass containers will be confiscated and disposed of upon entry to the lot.

Underage drinking laws will be strictly enforced during the Block Party. Open alcohol containers outside the official tailgating area will be subject to open container laws.

Charcoal grills are the only form of grilling permitted in the tailgating area. Fans who choose to grill must use charcoal grills. Hot coals must be dumped into the proper receptacles that will be found throughout the parking lot. All grilling areas must be cleaned up prior to departure.

The following are not allowed:

  • Outdoor fire pits
  • Propane tanks
  • Gas grills
  • Electric/propane/gas heaters
