The Celebration of Distinction honors George Mason alumni for their service and accomplishments. This year's event was broadcast on GMU-TV.

Congratulations to Carter School Alumni!

The Celebration of Distinction is one of the oldest alumni traditions at George Mason University. The Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution is incredibly proud of our three alumni who were recognized at the 2020 event that recently aired on GMU-TV: Lewis Dabney, MS '99, Robert Harris, MS '96, PhD '03, and Ilana Shapiro, PhD '03!

As Alumni Association President, Sumeet Shrivastava, MBA '94 said "These alums showcase the qualities we value in our community: innovation, leadership, service, and a commitment to excellence."
