Julia Morelli, MA '95, BA '83, Senior Fellow with Mason’s Center for the Advancement of Well-Being, will lead you through a series of mindful movements designed to help reduce stress and bring a sense of renewal to the body, with gentle practices including stretches and forms of moving meditation.

Sherlock Holmes: Books and Beyond | 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. EST | Virtual   
Sherlock Holmes entered our imagination in 1887 when he was introduced in a short novel by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, and has since gone on to live in stories and novels by his creator and hundreds of others, along with innumerable plays, movies, and TV adaptations. In this talk, we'll learn about the legendary detective's career over time, with samples of performances from many actors who have taken on the roles of Holmes, including Basil Rathbone, Jeremy Brett, Ian McKellen, and Benedict Cumberbatch. Our discussion is led by Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) instructor Dan Sherman, PhD who is a retired managing director at the American Institutes for Research.

A tailgate parking permit pass entitles you to two parking spots to accommodate one vehicle and up to eight guests. Tailgate vehicle permit includes access to the Alumni Tent for the purchaser only. Guests may pre-purchase tickets to the alumni tent or pay onsite on the date of the event.
